Travel and trend; that's what you get with one of
OTBT's new styles, the
Nomadic. The trend on this shoe, Ghillie Ties.
At it's origin, Ghillies referred to specially designed shoes used in Irish dance, notable for their soft and supple build featuring criss-cross laces across the top of the foot for flexible movement. Now, Ghillies is a laces trend sweeping across the US. The ghillie tie movement accompanies the gladiator, boho, bohemian, 70’s, upfront, caged in and hippie looks. This popular trend deserves recognition and so we bring you, OTG (on the go) with Ghillie Ties.
There are countless things to love about this comfort wedge but one of our favorites is, you can wear it with ANYTHING. The options are endless but here's a few ways you might want to try it!
First, an outfit for those cooler spring days. The Nomadic (in Hickory) looks great with this distressed boyfriend jean, navy blue peasant shirt, some gold and leather jewelry. Throw all your stuff in your messenger bag and you're ready to "be you" and take on any adventure!
It's a warm summer evening and you're headed to an outdoor concert? You'll look great in the Black Nomadic! Pair it with a denim high waisted short, a bright red tank and some gold jewelry, it's what we're wearing. Of course you can't leave the house without a bag and your shades.
Going for an afternoon of exploring in a new city? The Nomadic in Light Pewter looks great with black denim shorts! Then all you have to do is throw on a v-neck (in any color), some light make up, shades and grab your backpack. There's really no telling where you may wander.
We love denim, we love the beach and we LOVE the Nomadic in Sport White! This denim floral dress is perfect for a day in the sun! Relax on the beach all day in this trendy outfit (complete with cross body, cell phone and Ray Bans).
Now you know how we're taking on this Ghillie Tie trend, how are you? Let us know and wander on friends!
